I've removed both IIS6 and IIS 7.0 and then have reset up IIS6 again. But I still don't see the option to access it on the machine. How can I directly call it?

Hi,
As I'm running my ASP program in WinXP, I've just set up IIS 6.0 on the machine. But I still don't have this option within the programs and only can see it within 'Add or Remove Programs'. Any advice?
I also have found that IIS 7 was previously set up there but I can't make the connection through that even ...

I do think it's very troublesome to resetup/remove the Sql server DB and also others have the same thoughts.

Jeff, how can I install without using the web platform installer? Do I have to avoid using that?
Peter, within 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log' I do not see a folder that was created few days ago.
