  Thanks for the suggestion... I tried it.. no luck... thinking there is some sort of deeper compatibility issue with the app... even though it says it works with IIS 7  Am I correct that all I have to do to get the WMI Provider installed is make sure Manangement Tools and Scripts is installed?  I am still curious why it doesn't show ...

  Hey guys, I'm just an admin, and pretty new to IIS 7.0 (and 2008 Server STD).  I have an app I am trying to install and it is telling me that WMI Provider is not enabled in IIS 7.0 and so it can't install it. So I searched it and everything seemed to say install the Management Scripts and Tools... and enable WMI Provider from ...
