  that sounds about right because I have another website with a hit counter that writes to a txt file but i get this error [Count could not be obtained due to the following error]: Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Intranet\TechRes\counter.txt' is denied.

  This is the physical directory for the website I am having trouble viewing....'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SendIt\ I dont know what this is.....xspwcekz.tmp I am guessing it is some sort of temp file. whatever it is it changes everytime i hit refresh in the browser. for example, 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\SendIt\vl0k-3fo.tmp' is ...

  I have solved this. I didn thave the permissions set to the admin group which I am a member of.
