I did a webex with client and these are my observations. I created a new "Test227" folder on FTP server which client could not access so I renamed it to "227Test" and client was able to access. Basically any folder ending with "227" is not accesible from client network.

We recently migrated FTP to Windows 2008 (IIS7). One client reported that they get "the system cannot find the file specified" when they try to access one folder.
They are not having issues accessing any other olders. We tested using client account and it just works fine. Our FTP directory as follows

I have tested "dir -R" on Windows 2003 server from Windows/Linux commadline and it does displays all subfolder content recursively.In case of Windows 2008 server it only displays current folder content. We noticed this issue after one of our client notified.

The "dir -R" I tested against Windows 2003 server and it displays all folders and subfolder content recursively (tested from Windows and Linux commandline). In Windows 2008 server it only displays current folder content. Let me know if you need sample screen output

You are saying FTP 7.0 just fills "rwx" all folders and files though actual permissions are different right ?
In our FTP all the users will only have read access and access is limited to certian folders based on their subscriptions. We have done enough testing and everything is working as expected but only looking ...

We use IIS 7.0. We migrated to 2008 to offer FTP with SSL. The directory style is UNIX which is what we have on 2003 server.
Only difference I am seeing between old and new server is in Directory browsing screen in the new version we have additional options – 1. Display Virtual Directories 2. Display bytes ...

Thanks for your message. Probably my explanation was not clear. The user does not have access to only T folder. The access permissions are working as expected. None of the users has write permissions to any of the files/folders. Basically in the servers for all files/folders it showing rwxrwxrwx(user-group-public) in the new ...

We recently migration our FTP site from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008. What I noticed is for all files and folders user-group-public permissions as rwxrwxrwx though all the users has read only permission and some folder and files no access.
