Hi,
I have it working.
I believe it to be 2 possible scenarios.
I removed IIS, ans WPA, Application Server, .Net 3 etc
Installed WPA 1st, reboot.
Installed IIS, rebot
Installed Application Server, reboot
After doing this again, a 2nd time more carefully everything seems to work properly.

What did you do to solve your problem here?
I am having problems on server 2008 and IIS 7.0, trying to access the web pages on remote stations by IP address.

Did you ever find out what is wrong with your problem?
I have the same scenario and troubleshooting why I can't access my server web pages by IP address user Server 2008, IIS 7.0.

I installed a new Server 2008 Installation with IIS 7.0
I am not able to access the server by IP address to view web pages, either
by remote work stations or via IE on the server desktop.
I am able to view the default web pages on the desktop by server name I used
to bind it with.
My guess some new security feature I am missing is blocking ...
