  We are currently investigating what it would take to get the firewall ports automatically configured for Windows 2008 R2 as part of FTP setup. However, this is not closed yet.  Thanks, Vijay Sen [MSFT]

  No. There is an out of band release planned for WebDAV 7.5 (like in the case of webDAV 7.0).

  This issue is likely to be caused by the fact that WebDAV lock support is not available in WebDAV 7.0. The Word (client) is issuing WebDAV lock requests as part of the publishing process and the WebDAV 7.0 server is not able to handle this lock request.   This is a known issue with Expression web. The Expression Web team is looking into fixing this for a future release.
