  hi there, i'm getting the same error as above, how & where do i go to find (sysinternals) so i can check these permissions?

  THanks for the link provided, Just to let you know i'm now running Vista Ultimate, and i'mstill rather confused....  Previously i've been running XP Pro to set-up my localhost. After installing IIS I would create a folder on my desktop and then using Web Sharing and naming the folder something like 'sites' i could access ...

  can someone show or give me a step-by-step guide as how i go about setting up IIS 7 so that i can run my .asp pages on my localhost.
