    ok, not a severe issue, but i need to fix this.  Search engines see https: and http: as two different URI's... im using IIS6.  without using isapi_rewrite how can i re-direct specific folders that do not have any secure pages in them, to only serve up as http:

    crud, that did not work....  it was still returning 302 object moved.. considering we do not have an example.com (non-www) site on our IIS server, could i not request that we make a site for example.com, set the redirect to 301, have it redirect to the root of www.example.com. which is where i come to the issue of their script they have in ...

    i am having alot of duplicate content issues with search engines, becuase of my URI structure. prior to my arrival in this position, there was no standard in place for creating directories or file names...i.e. people have been using underscores, spaces %20, hyphens, upper case, lower case, mixed case...etc.... its a mess.  so now the search ...

    Ok, so i talked to my web admins today.  And asked them to 301 permanent re-direct http://example.com to www.example.com.  they said they do not have a site directory for http://example.com.  i thought this was funny becuase when i type http://example.com it is redirected to http://www.example.com/index.asp with a 302 ...

    If i talk my co. in to buying 2003 server, what kind of licensing will i be looking at?  We have about 15 employees, most are sales agents, so most likely not more than 10 concurrent users will be on at one time..... So im guessing 2003 server, with 10 CAL's.  Now the CALs only relate to our internal employees that will be accessing ...
