currently, I need to get my head around the URL Rewrite module, so i'm just about to give that a go, test and then deploy.
Currently, i'm using HostingASPNet's solution -> appended a $S$Q to the end of the domain to prem redirect to.
eg

Hi folks,
for one of our projects, we're doing a rebranding of the website name, logo, etc...
As such, we need to 301 Moved Permenantly redirect all
users from the old domain to the new domain. With IIS7, that's pretty
simple. We just create a new ...

Hi folks,
Problem: A website's web.config settings data values are not being accepted. The default server webServer settings are being used.
Description: I've got some new IIS7 servers i'm migrating some websites over too. Works great. When I checked to see if our dynamic compression was working, it wasn't. Using FRT to debug the ...

Hi folks,
currently I have a few webservers in the USA that are behind a (hardware) load balancer -> ie. a web farm. Each machine has 3 websites.
a) an API site
b) the main site
c) the main site but with cookies disabled -> this is used for static content.
d) an 'offline' site which is a simple ASP.NET mvc project that has one page ...

Sure can :)
this is from your homepage
"Seamless integration with IIS 7.0 Manager and Visual Studio 2010 interface for creating packages and deploying them onto a machine, both locally and remotely. "
So can it work with VS2008 and have an interface for creating packages and deploying them, from VS08?

Hi folks,
I'm absolutely _DYING_ to use this program. I manage a web farm and it's been a nightmare for the last 3 years :( Anyways, i'm banking on the fact that this app will save me lots of pain from the few vid's i've seen over the last 12+ months.
Anyways, on the home page for this app, i noticed it only ...

Hi mate - yep, that helps a lot.
And sort of makes sense, i suppose. If i was on a hosted place, i wouldn't want someone to hijack my bindings.
What i the best way to handle this in a web-farm scenario then? eg. I've setup WebServer-A with all my site details, bindings, etc.
Now i've got 5 more sites (with all the same ...

Hi folks,
i've got a simple ASP.NET website that i end up publishing/running on an IIS7 server.
Is it possible to to add into my web.config file some 'binding'
information, instead of having to set it manually through the site in
IIS7.
eg. imagine i have the following bindings
http://foo.mysite.com ...

Nope. It sounds like it's easier to just edit the file instead of downloading _another_ application. :(
It also sounds confusing... I would love it, if it was part of the UI. Now I know crying about it gets us nowhere ... so I'm hoping to learn how we could drum up some ground roots support to make an offical request .. so it could be ...
