I too would like to know this.
I am looking at IIS7 and Vista/Longhorn from the perspective of a web hoster.
I am impressed with the ability to programatically control webs and ftp sites and sql databases, but going forward, the ability to control dns, pop, smtp would make this a complete solution.
I know this isnt the forum for these topics, ...

This is great. No more shelling out or scripting or fighting with the System.Management namespaces.

I agree. Although there are other good non-sanctioned IIS sites, Its refreshing that Microsoft and the IIS team has given us a place to discuss IIS topics with the people who know most about it.

Did I read correctly, that I will be able to import the Microsoft.Web.Administration namespace into a Visual Studio 2005 Project, and programatically administer all facets and typical tasks of IIS, such as adding, modifying, deleting, enumerating, starting, stopping (etc); webs, ftp sites, application pools?
