Hi,
I've been checking through a few articles tonight on the Web Deployment Tool and noticed that on the extension page - http://www.iis.net/extensions/WebDeploymentTool the link entitled "Configure the Web Deployment Handler" which links to ...

Thanks, I took another look at it this morning and the error was in my Administration.config file I hadn't given the full provider class name - schoolboy error on my part but with a clear head this morning it's so much clearer.
Thanks for the links to the additional two blog posts - I had read Carlos' in the past but will re-read ...

I have built a HelloWorld sample module and an imageCopyright sample module in VS2008 on Vista Ultimate 64 and for the life of me cannot get the module pages to appear in IIS Manager. I have tried numerous compilations, automatically and manually tried adding to the GAC and have entered both modules to the <moduleProviders> section in ...

Hi,

Hi,
I have them both running fine on my Vista Business 32-bit laptop. Have you managed to install the two packages or do they not install. Sorry just trying to break this down so I can help you.
Cheers

Hi you won't be able to access your machine by using localhost. Localhost points to your local machines standard ip address of 127.0.0.1. To access the webserver on your vista machine you will need to browse to the ip address or machine name of your vista machine. i.e. http://192.168.0.1/ or ...

Hi,
I've been trying to navigate to the Media in IIS7 section of the IIS7 Section, listed under Managing IIS7 but it is raising a script error and not expanding the tree view. I've tried in IE7 and FF2 and can't access the section in either. Could someone take a look at it please?
Cheers
Andrew
