I got a request to send logs (circuitry maximus to me) but the reply address in this web (npi) of excess mass may a disco (reject). What now?

I too am having install issues? Basically the same issue as above in addition to ResourceBlender.NET, Silverlight 3, SQL Server Express 2008 with Service Pack 1, and SQL Server 2008 Management Studio Express not installing also.

Sorry to hear that you are running into install failures. Can you send along the webpi log files to webpi@microsoft.com?

The log files should be located at:

"%localappdata%\Microsoft\web platform installer\logs" for Vista and above

"%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer\logs" for Xp and W2k3.

The plethora of mostly valued things are becoming now so numerous that even to follow every jot and tittle (detail); the chances of installing a successful round of 1 - ? items is wrught with greater and greater likelyhood of failure.

And, it goes though a hoop: count unnumbered, and at the very end says, could not down load or install thai or that.

This is not the way: either the thing is more securely situatred befoire it is promoted with verve or some end all be all utility should be deployed prior to installation to advise of the almost inevitable error in some system nook or cranny.
