I had the same issue and changing the Time Zone from UTC+1 to UTC-8 worked for me.

Just to follow-up again. We investigated and figured out the cause of the date/time error and we are working on a fix for the next release.

I have exactly the same issue with a Win7 computer. I used msdeploy command line tool on the file downloaded by Web Platform Installer and the error message is then "Not a valid Win32 FileTime".

A solution that works for me is to change the Time Zone from UTC+1 to UTC-8. I'm now able to also download Umbraco :-)

There were some issues with the availability of the download servers for some of the packages. Can you try it again? Can you attach all files in the "%localappdata%\microsoft\web platform installer\log" directory if it still doesn't work.

I'm trying to install DotNetNuke using Web Platform Installer 2.0 Beta. The DotNetNuke gets downloaded, and the ASP.NET gets enabled, but the process does not finish. Web Platform Installer shows these message error:

Object type 'package' and path 'C:\Documents and Settings\emdoaiturbe\Configuración local\
Datos de programa\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer\INstallers\FileDownload.aspx-DownloadId=61788' cannot be created.

Could you help me, please?
