The IIS 7 Remote manager works on XP and Windows 2003. The admin pack code download to the remote manager also works.

The Administration Pack itself is only compatible with IIS 7 and can only be installed on IIS7 servers.

IIS 7 administration already works on Vista, including the admin pack. I haven't tested on XP.

ok, i must claryfy

IIS 7 Administration must be possible on Windows XP and Vista and support admin pack on that kind of clients

Almost every single one of admin packs features will work remotely. When you use Ineternet Information Services 7.0 Manager to connect to an IIS7 server that has admin pack installed, you will be prompted to download the remote client pieces.

There is one important note:
Admin Pack must be installed on and IIS7 Server. The Internet Information Services 7.0 Manager is just a remote administration client and contains none of the server runtime components.

if i install http://www.iis.net/downloads/default.aspx?tabid=34&g=6&i=1626 i d like to use admin pack too
