Currently the best thing to do on IIS 6 is to do the cgi version of php as doing fastcgi has been having some major issues. If you are on IIS 7 then fastcgi is the way to go.

Hello,

I am trying to host a PHP application using either FastCGI / CGI or ISAPI on IIS 6.0. Nothing work for the moment and I'm a bit lost.

I configured the FastCGI extension to work with PHP, modify the fcigext.ini file and my php CGI testing file does not load. I followed every steps (http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/247/using-fastcgi-to-host-php-applications-on-iis-60/) but I am maybe missing something else?

With ISAPI, the filter has an unknown status...I don't know how to load it again. I have already installed MediaWiki on this server using ISAPI and the wiki is working just fine.

Can someone link me to a good tutorial or giving me some advice on how I can proceed ?
