&lt;p&gt;A lot of MDAC/SQL&amp;nbsp;drivers were not supported on Win2k3 64bit edition.&amp;nbsp; Some support was added in Windows Server 2008; see wikipedia for some good details on the support for Oracle via MDAC:&lt;/p&gt;
