Hi... I have the same problem....

I have Dreamweaver CS4, Windows vista Business. I make the setup with de IUSR with total control in the folder with the DB.... I have also the system DSN well configurated.

Also, I have the c:/windows/service profile/..... local/temp ...... with total control

when i created the connection in dweaver the test was ok. when i created the recordset, everything was fine... but whe i click on the live data button, I cann't view the info.

the message error:

error 80004005

website/flowerlist.asp, line 9

PLEASE... HELP ME!!!!

dear friend,

i was also having the same problem regarding the dynamic content and those freaky 80004005 errors

at first i was getting errors like

an error occured while processing the url ......

Ok, so I suspected that the first problem was due to the fact that I needed to activate asp scripts in some way. However, turns out it was a new setting for sending the error message to the client . This setting is located in the new IIS Manager:

Features View, ASP, Debugging Properties, Send Errors to Browser

just checked this out and then

i got the following error

Microsoft JET Database Engine error ‘80004005′
Unspecified error
/myapp/myscript.asp, line 9

actually this is the permission problem with the temp folder (not c:\temp)

vista uses a different location here it is given

C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Local\Temp

just change the permission for the folder

IUSR_your machine name

give full control

and your problem wil be solved

guaranteedly...!!!!

System:

Dreamweaver CS3
Windows Vista Home Premium
IIS7 Access Database
ASP

I enabled IIS7 in the Control Panel

I set up a site definition in Dreamweaver CS3.

tested the URL prefix > ok
I typed http://localhost > I get the IIS7 default page > ok
I ran a test ASP page > I can see the date > ok

Everything looks swell from here.

I am able to connect to my Access Database.
I place my recordset on to my page.
I click on Live Data to view the data in Design View.

Error > An error occured on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the Administrator.

I tried to preview my page I get that same error as well.

I enabled show friendly HTTP errors messages in Internet Explorer 7... Nothing...

NOTE:
This works properly in Win XP / Dreamweaver CS3 / IIS5.1 or 6 setup.

NEED HELP PLEASE.
