hi,

I am using Visual Studio 6.0.

i am new to VC++.I have decided to work in VC++ for the URL redirect.For that i found one of the forum and the link is

i have creted a project that they have mentioned and for the first time it works fine and it also redirects fine.

But i modifyed instead of .cfm i changed in the coding as .cfmss and i build the application and i got one of the error as

LINK : fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file "Debug/RewriteURL.dll"

RewriteURL.dll - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

compiling with no errors or warnings. But when i buid then i found the above errors.

Can any one help i am fresh for this domain.please....

ColdFusion does not know how to setup IIS 7

I have just set up my ColdFusion server on Vista Beta Build 5384 and cannot get to the configuration
page as .cfm is not configure in the MIME mappings.

"HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found
Description: The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the
Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) map policy that is configured on
the Web server. The page you requested has a file name extension that is not
recognized, and therefore is not allowed. "

It seems that ColdFusion does not know how to setup IIS so I have to do that myself.

I have been able to open the IIS Manager and get to the "Handler Mapping"
and have even been able to put in the file extension but I do not know how
to point it to the ColdFusion server/service. Do I add it as a "Manage
Handler", a "Script Map", or a "Module Mapping"?

What do I have to do to add ColdFusion pages to MIME?

Hi,

I am doing this setup for the first time. I am using IIS7 on Windows 2008 machine. Two JBOSS 4.3.0 EAP CP02 instances on Windows 2003 machines. Three are in different machines.

I have configured IIS as given in http://www.jboss.org/community/wiki/UsingModjk12WithJBossAndIIS7.pdf and http://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-installation-microsoft-iis-7.htm. Now my problem is I am able to access the URL for the context root whatever I gave in the uriworkermapping.properties file. And moreover http is working fine. But once if I login to the application with https then "Page cannot be displayed" screen is displaying. Can any body help me on this.

Also I am getting the following Error in the IIS Logs.

[Thu Jul 16 09:21:21.792 2009] [2464:3948] [emerg] jk_isapi_plugin.c (1927): [/Aris_860/META-INF/services/javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory] points to the web-inf or meta-inf directory. Somebody tries to hack into the site!!!

Server question

My question in an im not sure this is the right place to ask this. I have a name server up a running. If i create glue records to external ip they work fine but if I point them to an internal ip of coarse they dont work how can I point my domain 123.com to a internal ip through my server.

advance thanks.

i hosted my website in a US dedicated server.this is my first website.

am accesing this US dedicated server using remote desktop connection.

am transfering files from local host to dedicated server using copy paste method..

but copying files from local host to dedicated server taking too much time..

my doubt is

1.is any other way we have for transfering files from local host to remote dedicated server?

2.extra payment we have for downloading files using our net connection, whether this copy paste from dedicated to local host is downloading files or not???

Hello, I have been using Windows 2003 Server, and i have installed IIS recently on my computer. Now, I can't open Internet explorer, whenever I open the IE i have the below error. i developed one website in windows server 2003 ...everything is working fine in that machine...http://localhost:90/ and http://ipaddress:90/ both links is giving me the website home page in local host...but when i access my website from another machine using http://ipaddress:90/ it is giving me the error like as follows...but one month before i accessed this same website from other machine without any problems...but now web is not coming...y it is like that???can anybdy help me for this?

hi all
am accessing my dedicated server using RDP.
after opening the dedicated machine using RDP, opening my applications in that server.after that instead of logoff i just closed the connection.

when i open default.rdp from my documents folder, i can see all the opened application in dedicated server.

but if repeat the above step after 2 minutes rdp opening the new session to the dedicated machine.

how can i keep live session continuosly from a local host???

Certificate problem on Vista

May be this is not really the right forum for this post but i really hope that u can help me with this. It's a certificate problem. I am developing an application which is of the full trusted app type. So the problem that im facing is related with the cert that should be installed on the client machine. I have created a certificate using makesert.exe, provided by the SDK, that has to be installed to the client machine (into the certificate store - StoreName.Root, StoreName.My, StoreName.TrustedPublisher). For the purposes of the installation I have created a console application (.exe) that will help the user to download the certificate file and to install it to the client machine. The whole program runs without any problems under Windows XP, but under some versions of Vista (Vista Business - not working, Vista Home - working) the certificate is not installed into the StoreName.Root.

Hi All,

I hope and iam anticipating forward that my problem could be solved here.

1.) The "getColumnCount" function of "MSUtil.LogQuery.W3CInputFormat" component is giving wrong count of columns and column name when the extended properties are added to the exisiting Internet Information Services(IIS). Can you pls help me.

2.) I am able to retrieve all the column records. But unable to get the correct column name for the respective record. For eg. When the record pointer reaches to the line 14 of the file below. The "getColumnCount" function is giving wrong count of columns and also "getColumnName(index)" function also.

I have the following configuration:
behind the ADSL router there is a LAN with the workstations and a Linux box with Apache and DNS server. It has 2 network adapters, eth0(link with LAN, ip range 192.168.1.1-253) and eth1(link with W2k3, ip 192.168.10.1). The W2k3 box(running IIS 6.0) is connected directly to the Linux boxand has the 192.168.10.2 ip associated.

What I need to do: I need to host sites both on Apache and IIS.

What have I done to accomplish this: I have created some virtual hosts on Apache for sites hosted on it and they are working just fine. In order to access sites on IIS I have created some virtual hosts with proxy pass. On the W2k3 box, the sites are created using host header values. I have edited the c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and added the sites on the IIS, so my hosts file on the W2k3 looks like that:

127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.10.2 mydomain1.com
192.168.10.2 mydomain2.com

these lines are also added on the linux box hosts file

Problem: when I try to access sites on the IIS from the outside, I get the Bad Request(Invalid hostname) error. If the default IIS site is up and running, when I try to access any of mydomain1.com or mydomain2.com, i get the IIS' default page. If I'm trying to access the sites from the browser on the W2k3 box or from the linux box, it works just fine.

Question: what the problem might be and what would be the resolution?

Im relatively new to all this, so you'll have to excuse my ignorance, but using this blog entry as a starting point, i attempted to isntall php4 on my Vista RC1 installtion. FYI, I want php4 because that is what is on the server i (have to) use. I have tried using two different Handler Mappings, for CGI and ISAPI. For cgi I point to the following executable: c:\php\php.exe. When I do this I get the following error page when testing phpInfo() in test.php:

Server Error in Application "Default Web Site"

HTTP Error 502.2 - Bad Gateway

Description: The specified CGI application did not return a complete set of HTTP headers.

Error Code: 0x00000103

Notification: ExecuteRequestHandler

Module: CgiModule

Requested URL: http://localhost:80/test.php

Logon User: Anonymous

Logon Method: Anonymous

Handler: PHP

Most likely causes:

The CGI process was shut down or terminated unexpectedly before it finished processing the request.

Check the event logs on the system to see whether the CGI process is shutting down unexpectedly.

Troubleshoot the CGI application to determine why it is not sending a complete set of HTTP headers.

More Information... This error occurs when the CGI process handling the request exits before it finishes sending the response to IIS.

More Information... This error means that the file or directory does not exist on the server. Create the file or directory and try the request again.

I am working with Vista build 5472, and I am trying to build a simple Win32 application that hosts IIS 7 following the instructions in this article on MSDN: "IIS 7.0 Beta: Walkthrough: Creating a Hosted Web Core Application" (http://windowssdk.msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms693696.aspx). I can't get it to build because the compiler cannot find hwebcore.h . I can't find the file anywhere on the system. Do I need a separate SDK? Any ideas?

Configuring PHP mail() function, IIS 5 & Exchange 2000

Could someone point me to any articles/tutorials on configuring IIS 5 & Exchange 2000 to be able to run the PHP mail() email function?

My web server and exchange server are on 2 separate machines running the following:

Web Server-Windows 2000 Server SP4/IIS 5.0/PHP 4.4.4 (smtp NOT currently installed)
Mail Server-Windows 2000 Server SP4/IIS 5.0/Exchange 2000 Server (IIS here configured over SSL for OWA access)

PHP forms no longer POST data

Strange...but true. Originally, I was running my main website from my Windows 2000 Server machine and had a small section that used SSL. The SSL portion was running from another 3rd Party web server filtered from my router. (Port 80 goes here....Port 443 goes there...) Due to network expansion, I dropped the 3rd party web server and transferred everything to my Windows 2000 box running PHP 4.1.x.

My Problem:

NONE of my POST forms will function; I receive a 404 page not found error when the Submit button is pressed. - Yet, (believe me), the paths are correct: (the script resides in the same folder): ... action="script.php" ...

I think this is a permissions issue, but not sure as the rest of my site works flawlessly both internally and externally.

I have given the IUSR account FULL CONTROL from my C:\ drive up and checked EVERY permission (to no avail) in IIS....

Any clues? My gratitude ahead of time...
