I am trying to set up webdav on a Windows2008 server, with anonymous authentication.
I am able to open office documents from this server, but they always open in read only mode. It is not
possible to save them back to the dav-folder.

In Windows2003/IIS6 this worked. It also works if I change to Windows authentication

I have set Read, Source and Write permissions for All users on All content in the webDAV Authoring Rules, and an Authorization Rule for All users. I have also tried to set Physical Path Credentials under the Advance settings on the Virtual Directory containing the DAV folder.

Is there a way to set up webdav in IIS7 that will give anonymous users the possibility to open and save an office document to dav?
