Just as a matter of interest or curiosity i m posting this to give the solution to my problem, as it may help others in the future.

The option Enable Application Verifier was enabled on gflags when troubleshooting another incident, and was interfering with memory allocation of the kernel...

So that means the puter is always right and i´m the puters b1@tch.

Glad the problem is resolved anyways thanks for the input

Re: IIS Admin Console Crash

Hi, Paparux

Since there is nothing in event viewer, it is not easy to identify the real cause of the issue.

I had encountered a case with similar symptom caused by FPSE.

now, things come to mind:

1.Reinstall IIS, do not forget to delete metabase in "c:\Windows\system32\inetsrv".

If it still crash, try this:

2.open a empty mmc console and add IIS as snap-in. do it as below:

start-> run, input "mmc" . you will see a empty mmc window. click "file" in the menu bar, choose "Add/Remove Snap-in". then, click "add" choose "Internet Information Services". if your IIS still crash in this way. bad luck. there may be something wrong with you Windows Server 2003.

Hope this helps you.

Thanks

Re: IIS Admin Console Crash
