it doesn't resolved the issue for the windows 2008 server, i need to have new version of the iSeries Client Access for window 2008 server.

Ouch. and that solve the provider issue? I'm pretty sure you still need the client data provider for w2k3.

Problem solved, I shifted to Windows 2003 Server instead of Windows 2008 Server.

You will need to get the DB2 provider installed, typically like the client portion of the db2 engine will do.. Seach the vendor site.

i'm new with the windows 2008, i have a simple asp script the connects to a AS400 dbase (db2)... how can i add DB2, it seems SQL server are the only available option in the ODBC administration. please help. TIA.
