What you're saying is you want the files in the "access" folder to be the root of your web site. Assuming that C:\inetpub\wwwroot is the file path to your root (that's the default) you can either:

1) move everything from C:\inetpub\wwwroot\access to C:\inetpub\wwwroot

2) change the root of your web site to use the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\access folder

Create a Refresh meta tag in a document in the root of your web site. This is how :

Hi, I have just started at a company that has a website in the form of http://career.website.com/access and I would like to shorten things and have the users access by typing http://career.website.com

We are using IIS6. Could you please let me know the simplest way to achieve this?
