Wait there is something im not understanding right. You have sent me a password reset url from forums.asp.net while m issue is from forums.iis.net Im using my windows live id to log to asp.net forums. What have you reset then?

Yeah i did check after i sent my request and just did again.

Havent received anything.

Can an admin force a password reset or can ad admin contact me and i would provide old account username and email.

I would like to delete previous account if the password cannot be reset cause i would like to user my official email instead of this secondary email i use for this "fake" account.

Did you check your email to make sure it did not get caught as spam?

Hi! i wanted to sign in but my email was already assigned to a user. I think i once opened an account here. So i used the "Forgot my password" form but no email was sent to me. i used the "Question/Problems with www,iis.net" link at the bottom but it takes me to home forum where i cant post because i hadn't any account.

So now i create a fake account to post in here my question. How can i recover/reset my password for the account associated with my email.

PS: I've wrote this question in the general section before i saw i needed to write this here. Go ahead if you need to delete my previous post.
