Blocked Site

We are trying to access this site from work (NHS) and it is coming up as being blocked. Both out local and national admins have both checked and confirmed that site is not blocked on our networks.

Can you take a look and see if any of the following IP's are blocked at your end? The gateway IP addresses for the NHS are:

194.176.105.1 - 194.176.105.8

it's too early for me to tell because i'm new to iis 7.5 ... it seems that there may be enough significant differences between iis 7 and 7.5 for 7.5 to have independent forum sub sections ...

ergo, will that happen any time soon or not so soon?

Site responsiveness

I've been seeing up to a 10 second delay to completely load pages. Seems like IE 7 is stalling on loading content from the banner ads.

Is anyone else seeing this? Not sure if it's the site or my network environment.

to download: IIS 7.0 Manager for Remote Administration

But it gave me the following error:

HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found

Is there any other place from where I can get the download, or someone can put the file in there?

I would prefer to use a simple password when accessing forums. By forcing us to use Caps and numbers..., many people end up using their more secure passwords making their more secure passwords less secure.

I don't know about you but I think it would be nice to have more people start using avatars on this site, especially those who post to the forums often.

In case you are interested, please follow the instructions below:

Make sure you are signed into the site, you can verify but checking the header and seeing your username and 'edit profile' link
Click on the 'edit profile' link in the header
Click on the the 'Avatar' tab
Choose 'yes' to enable the avatar
Click the 'Choose File' button and browse to an image to use as your avatar
Click open to choose image
Click the 'Save Changes' button and you should see the avatar update shortly
