I am following this manual and my problem is than when I try to open phpinfo.php it forces me to download or open the code from page, instead of show me the information.
It sounds like the file extensions are not being recognized properly. Try to right-click and open it using Notepad. Using WPI is the easiest and most reliable way to install PHP (and MySQL) on Windows.
