We are in the process of enabling SSL for application (tbgstart-test.tms.toyota.com) in development environment. We got the CSR and the SSL certificate. The SSL certificate has also been installed on the Windows server. (Windows server 2003)
But when we try to access the application URL in browser to check the new certificate, we are not able to see any certificate. We find that the application tbgstart-test status is stopped. Please let me know if we need to restart the application for enabling
SSL for this site.

Are you asking why a SSL site is not returning a SSL cert as the site is stopped?!

Hi,
I wanted to know if we need to start the site because in IIS the status show as stopped.
We just installed the SSL certificate into the server. But we are not able to see the certificate(under security report) when we access the url.

Yes you have start the site to be able to view it in browser..
Can you let us know what steps have been used to install the certificate..?
