To broadcast a video file with live smooth streaming, you need a live smooth straming-capable encoder(expression encoder for example). Create a live smooth streaming publishing point. Then, push a stream to the live smooth streaming publish point. Finally,
server the live stream to client.

If you are asking if you can use multiple files in the same broadcast, yes you can. You can set multiple file sources in Expression Encoder, and switch between them during the live broadcast.
If you are asking if you can run multiple live sessions, the answer is also yes. Run multiple instances of Expression encoder streaming to different publishing points. You will need a pretty good encoder to do 30 sessions though, so I don't think this is
what you were asking. :)

That is doable. I have a high end encoder, and I can handle about 8 high quality live sessions at once. It could probably do 30 low quality sessions at once. I think you are going to need multiple encoding computers to accomplish that. Best to just play
with your encoder and see how much it can handle.

But in this way I can run only 1 live session?
With wms I can play 30 or more live points from file, is there a way to run more broadcasting from one encoder?

ok, thank you for your answers.
The goal is to stream live session from video files to iOS devices, that's why i'm moving from wms to live smooth,
By now is not possible to stream from wms to live smooth, right?
