I'm running a ARR 2.0 server in front of a IIS7.5 webserver. I've configured 2 websites on that webserver. One listens on
www.domain.com and the second listens on domain.com,
www.domain1.com and domain1.com. The second website redirects alle requests to website one.
On the ARR server I enabled disk cache and it works great, except one thing. The cache behavior is a little strange to me. I've the cache folders with files for every domain (www.domain.com, domain.com,
www.domain1.com and domain1.com). I would expect that I would only have one folder with cached content:
www.domain.com, since all requests to others domains will be redirected to
www.domain.com.
Is this normal behavior and can I set it up so that there will be only one cache folder (www.domain.com)?
As far as i know this is typical... You create a main cache folder then in that folder it creates a webstie that cordinates for each domain name that ARR is routing. It is viewed as cache only so its not a big deal to clear it out once the storage location
gets full. I believe that is why it is best practice to place it on its own drive because if you have a ton of files cached it is easier to format and start fresh. But in all my deployments that is how it works. Yet i'm not an expert for ARR.

I think you're right. Well the 'problem' raised because I only have 73GB SAS drives which are pretty full already. Well I expand the capacity if needed.
