No Fastcgi setting module

my Win 8 server ..cant setup fcgisetup_1.5_rtw_x86..i Remember I setup ok Before..now ....i cant..how can i do..i dont like WebPlatformInstaller - -ty

Hi,

Have you checked the Roles and Features Windows 2008 Server this IIS library Guide for FastCGI

http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/701/enable-fastcgi-support-in-iis-7-on-windows-server-2008-windows-server-2008-r2-windows-vista-or-windows-7/

may help.

Does the Web Platform installer have porblems ?

Can you post the logs to be checked ?

Hi,

With IIS7, FastCGI module is a built-in component. With IIS6 or IIS5.1, you can download it from here:

http://www.iis.net/download/FastCGI

Has already been downloaded, but the installation display: Setup was unable to delect a supported version of iis installed.if u platform is x64...u'll need to install fastcgi x64 but my system is x86

Hi,

It would help to know the Windows System Edition Type X86 X64 and version of IIS server.

The download page has the Web Platform Button

links for the others version 1.5 intel X86 or X64 for Windows XP and Windows 2003.

The link for IIS 7.0 is for updates to FastCGI Extension and IIS Server.

If you have later Windows the Features and Roles are where to start.

Hi,

To help with your problems the Windows System information is needed:

Look at "Seven Forums" guide Run as Administrator http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/11841-run-administrator.html guides.

While at the command prompt >systeminfo >my-system.txt will be created.

Then use Windows Explorer to browse to the folder where my-system.txt is located open the file my-system.txt in notepad.

Using notepad's copy and paste post Windows System Type Edition version and Service Pack Level you

do not need to post all the my-system.txt information.
