Please yes. We could desperately use this code and would love any help you can provide. I convinced my department that WFF was the way to go and we have installed 4 web farms. And now I am stuck repairing all 4 web farms on almost a daily, if not multiple times
a day. I cannot sustain this level of maintenance on a system that fails as much as this one does. Waiting a couple months for a new release is just not an option for us because of the extent of the problems we are encountering. Is there not a way to offer
a hot-fix release that just has auto-repair functionality? Or can someone on your team help publish just that code as a provider? I don't have the bandwidth on my team to write and test our own provider from scratch, so any help that can be offered would be
EXTREMELY appreciated. Please help. Thanks.
I think a lot of people have deployed this to prod sites and have been disappointed to find that it breaks on a daily basis because of simple things like file in use etc. We shouldn't have to write custom providers for what should be standard behaviour to handle
these sorts of things.
I am sorry to hear that its breaking your stuff. We are almost done and all the bugs have been verified. We are planning to have a release out by end of this week.
Oh thank the Lord Almighty! When I saw a post that a launch was potentially still a couple months away, I got a little worried. Looking forward to the release. If there is anything I can do to help move it along (besides getting out of the way and stop bitching),
please let me know. :) Thanks a bunch.
