We've recently allowed iPhone, iPad and Android devices to connect to our Exchange 2003 ActiveSync connection. Unfortunately some of the Androids have been having random issues so I enabled IIS logs and am looking at trying to make sense of them. Came
across the LogParser utility and this helpful page -
http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2006/03/03/421149.aspx. I'm able to run the
EAS_Server_Bandwidth.sql file, but cannot run the EAS_User_Statistics.sql file. With the exceptions of changing the directories in the sql file pointing to the input and output location as well as changing the directories
in the command to change the location of the .sql and .tpl files I'm running the script as is.
My command is: LogParser.exe -i:COM -iProgID:MSUtil.LogQuery.EASInputFormat file:EAS_User_Statistics.sql -o:TPL -tpl:EAS_User_Statistics.tpl
I have registered the lpeas.dll file.
The error I receive is: Error: SELECT clause: Syntax Error: unknown field 'eas-user-alias'. The closest match for input format 'COM' is 'iis-user-alias'. To see valid fields for the COM input format type: LogParser -h -i:COM
Can someone please help me with what I'm missing? Thank you.

Thanks for the response. We are using w3c extended format. I'll look again on their site to see if I can contact them, but comments were disabled in 2007. I changed eas-user-alias to iis-user-alias, but that didn't work. Like I said, I'm not very familiar
with this - just discovered the program the other day. Might have to order that Log Parser book...

@@ The book does cover the COM interface but it does not include the Exchange part :) anyway is a good red to know more about LP, I contributed IIS chapters for the book as well :)
