    Cannot connect to FTP remotely

Hi. I've spent about 5 hours looking for solution and have found nothing. I have a server and computer on the same router and I cannot connect to the server from the PC. I can do the following on the server machine: http://localhost/ http://73.**.**.184

FTP or HTTP?  Try with the command oline FTP client so you can see the responses.  Check your firewall.

Also, does your router support routing out and back in?  The IP you show is a routable IP so I assume it's your external IP address.

Re: Cannot connect to FTP remotely

The response from an FTP client says it's simply unavailable. And yes, my router supports routing out and in.

Well, first do some checking first
    - can you ping your public ip remotely
    - are those port allow by ISP ? port 80, 21 /etc
    - is your port forwarding configure properly at router/modem end.

Narrow the scope down one by one to ease troubleshooting.
