  most of asp .net 1.1 applications not working after moving from IIS 6.0 Reply Contact I migrated using "Web Deployment Tool" from Server 2003 R2 to Server 2008 R2 x64 and took all steps mentioned here: http://blogs.iis.net/bills/archive/2008/06/02/installing-asp-net-1-1-with-iis7-on-vista-and-windows-2008.aspx  but still when I try to browse .net 1.1 applications I get "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error" another strange thing, that I can't access any of applications running in "ASP .NET 1.1"  pool options in the feature view, for example when I click on Logging I get this:  There was an error while performing this operation. <error msg> Details: Filename: \\?\C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config Error: </error msg>
