    Outbound rewrite rules don't work inside an update panel?

     As per the title really, I've got a bunch of internal page writes which work fine pretty much everywhere, except when the content is within an update panel..

     Is there any way to get them working without removing the update panel functionality?

    My guess is no, since technically they don't exist until they are at the client.  But I'm not sure how the outbound rules affect JavaScript, that might be something that needs to be addressed in future updates.
