    Resource consumption on Windows 2003 and IIS 5.0

    Hi All, I am new to the deployment world, I've been mostly on the development side of things. I am trying to figure out what would be the overhead (in terms of hardware resources, memory and resource consumption) if an application (.net 2.0 web app) is created on IIS 5.0 running on Windows 2003 box. I know it will depend on the size of the application. Are there any websites that show the statistics based on the application size and the version of OS and IIS. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!.

    IIS 5 is on Windows Server 2000

    IIS 6 is on Windows Server 2003

    Which one do you have?

    IIS 5.0 on Windows Server 2003.

    Sorry my bad, its IIS 5.0 running on Windows Server 2000.

    You should monitor the server's performance state when the site is shipping to determine if the current hardware resources are enough. The following article should be of some help:
