    wpilauncher installer

I am not using SQL Server Express I am using SQL Server 2008.  I am on Windows 7 Utimate platform.  I have MSSQL installed on drive d: using apache on Port 90 and IIS on port 80.

I am getting errors with my install.  Do not know what to put for my SQL database and should I be using MYSQL for PHP applications?

I would like to use PHP and .NET 3.5 together.

Also how do we configured SQL Server 2008 to allow remote connections.

    Thank you

    LadyDee

Maybe part of this is my problem, I am not using the windows firewall.  I am using Trend Micro.

    Thank you

    Hi LadyDee,

It is possible that the firewall is causing issues however without more details we can only speculate. All I can offer at this time is to try whatever your doing with TrendMicro disabled.

Otherwise please provide details about what you are doing and what errors  you receive

    Thanks

    Richard

    Re: wpilauncher installer

I am getting the following error:

Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\IUSR'.

This is using the  Use integrated Windows authentication (ASP.NET account: NT AUTHORITY\IUSR)

I would use the  SQL Server account but can not remember my username which I believe is my hostname or the password.  Installed it months ago.

    Thank you

    Re: wpilauncher installer

Sorry , but its still unlcear to me where you are getting this error ? Is this and Application you are running or trying to Install an application via WebPI ?

Having said that I'll try to comment on what you have posted. If you are trying to connect to SQL using Iusr then you need to give access to SQL for that account. If your Windows Account has Admin access to SQL you can use SQL Server Management Studio Express to connect to your SQL instance and give access to the accounts your need as well as reset your SA account password. You can install the tools from here
