    Run LogParser from Removable media

Is it possible to run LogParser from removable media, such as a CD or a thumb drive?

The reason I'm asking this is to perform incident response on Windows 2008 systems in a data center, most often when I don't own those systems.  The goal here is to get the contents of the Windows Event Logs in an easily parseable format.

Thanks, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sure.  It's just an executable, put the files wherever you want.

     Jeff,

Thanks.  It installs as an MSI file, so I have to assume that DLLs are installed on the system.

I was hoping that someone had already attempted this sort of thing.

    thanks,

     Harlan

It works, all files are in the installation direction, just copy it. I have tried I think :) I forgot.. too many copies I have installed and used.
