Windows Media Services on Server 2003
The problem I am having is when I set up a broadcast publishing point when the pc that I am getting the video feed from tries to close the encoders it seems that windows media services will not let go of the single and the source pc can’t close the encoder and both systems seem to lock up until i manualy stop the broadcast then the source pc will close the software. I was wandering if there is already a solution in place for this type of problem. Added info: I am using a Winnov Videum 4400AV capture card with a proprietary recoding software, the software must shut down the encoders when the software exits, that’s why this problem has arouses.
