SBS 2008 IIS7 SBS Web Applications site

I am an IIS 7 newbie, and have been having trouble with a new server instllation.

The server hosts all of the standard Windows Intranet sites using locally created Certificates.  Additionalls there is a second site (under Default Web Site) with a purchased Certificate. I think that I have everything running on the second site with no issues.

We need to be able to access the "Remote" site both internally and from offsite computers etc.

When I access the https://prot.contosos.com/remote site internally no problems.  However whenever I use the internal IP address to get to it I get:

Server Error in Application "SBS WEB APPLICATIONS"Internet Information Services 7.0Error Summary

    HTTP Error 403.14 - Forbidden

Also if I try to access http://prot.contosos.com/remote from an external computer I am sent to a 404 Error...

    Any Ideas?

    Many Thanks

    D
