  neosys. Joined on 09-28-2009, 2:10 PM Montreal Posts 9	IIS 6.0 not responding Reply Contact I run an IIS6.0 on WS2003 RC2 SP2 for and only for Exchange OWA. The Outlook Web Access is only up for 15 to 30min then goes down for an hour and comes back up many times during the days. This is an ongoing problem for the past 2 weeks. The exchange server is working fine but I wonder is the IIS is configured correctly.

Event Type:    Warning Event Source:    W3SVC Event ID:    1013 Date:        10/20/2009 Time:        10:19:50 AM Description: A process serving application pool 'ExchangeApplicationPool' exceeded time limits during shut down. The process id was '10096'. As for the error I do use basicstate.com website watch and get many errors as the website is not responding, then responds again. I believe the IIS process is not recycled properly. But have no clue why !

  Reinstalling / Resetting OWA in IIS6.0 Reply Contact I found a probable solution here (Reinstalling OWA in IIS6.0) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883380 And more information here... http://blogs.msdn.com/sudeepg/archive/2007/09/11/iis-not-serving-pages-page-cannot-be-displayed.aspx   - But it did not helped - rebooting the server is my only solution yet. The error I get when calling the OWA URL is :  (which is IIS 6.0 related) Connection to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx was interrupted while loading the page.   Is reinstalling IIS the only left solution / alternative ?

Reply Contact This is very strange, my test show that the page displays for about 15 to 30 minutes and then no longer. Then is comes back again. And at one point (When the amount of memory is reached) the only solution is to reboot the server.
