  How to run config iis5.1 ,php and mysql 5.1 Reply Contact Hi, i am new to web dev ...i have started learning asp, php and mysql ....i got microsoft web dev tools .....i can run and test the asp in microsoft but .. i want to test it on a web server iis5.1 ...i have installed it ...but problem is that i can't run the .ASPX files and mysql ..i have mange to run php files by using microsoft webinstaller.... when every i try to run asp files it ask for password and username...and give me the error... i am using windows xp sp3...

It is probably the authenticated user does not have proper NTFS permissions on the files. Please post the full error message here, make sure the Show friendly HTTP error messages is disabled. The sub status code in the response will indicates the exact cause of this issue.
