    Trying to build specific maps

I've migrated my website from Sharepoint over to WordPress on IIS 7.0.  As part of that I've also taken my blog which was also Sharepoint but on another URL and merged it into the one website with the main website itself.  eg I had www.sbsfaq.com which was Sharepoint Services 2.0 and http://blog.sbsfaq.com which was Sharepoint Services 3.0 and I've merged all the content into www.sbsfaq.com under wordpress.

I've got three issues I need help with please.

Issue 1 - This applies just to the www.sbsfaq.com site. I want to build specific URL Rewrite rules to redirect the old content over to the new content. I know both the old URLs and the new URLs for each article I want to redirect, but I can't figure out how to make the rules work.

eg I want to redirect http://www.sbsfaq.com/Lists/FAQs/DispForm.aspx?ID=138 to http://www.sbsfaq.com/?p=1041

Issue 2 - Similar to issue 1, but with the complexity of needing to redirect people from http://blog.sbsfaq.com to www.sbsfaq.com

eg I want to redirect  http://blog.sbsfaq.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=305 to  http://www.sbsfaq.com/?p=725

Issue 3 - seperate to all of this I was trying to get pretty permalinks working.  I wanted to get it to be /articlename/postid to get the best possibel SEO benefit, but whilst I can enable it inside wordpress and I can see wordpress modify the URLrewrite rules, when I click on links in my site it displays the same pages (is I click on a link in the menu and it displays my blog page).  This last one is less of an issue for me but a nice to have.

I've tried to read the documentation and have messed with a few attempts to get this right but can't make it work at all.

I'd appreciate any advise you might be able to give.

Thius isn't easy, since you have different ID numbers.  You can easily redirect the URL, but you'll need some sort of way to match the old ID to the new P number.

    Same issue.

Issue 3 is easiest, since you have a direct relationship of the postID to the query string.

By the way, where are you having problems?  With the Rewrite Maps you can map all the ID numbers to P numbers, is that where the problem is?
