    Cannot login, no answer to replace lost password

     I just signed in with a different account mheiche, because I cannot sign in with my old account gfheiche. The password does not work and when I click on send me a new password there is no reply on my hotmail account.

    What can I do to reactivate my old account gfheiche??

    This happened to me as well.  No password email was ever sent to the email address I provided in the recover password page (http://forums.iis.net/user/emailforgottenpassword.aspx).  Here's what I had been trying:

    1. Login w/ a valid Windows Live ID
    2. The iis.net site would tell me that my Windows Live ID corresponds to an existing username.
    3. I entered what I thought was my name/password
    4. Wouldn't let me in
    5. Clicked the "I forgot my password" link
    6. Entered my email address and clicked "Recover Password" button
    7. Message told me a link would be sent to my email in apprx. 15 minutes

    The email never came to the email address I specified. Now I do not have my Windows Live ID linked to a hotmail account, I use an external email address, so maybe that's causing problems with the recover password page?

    What email address do you intend to use?  Right now I show that you have the email address of justintgoets@gmail.com.  Is that correct?

    Oh, I'm good now, thanks though. I switched the email address I have tied to my live id so I got around the issue. I was just letting you know that something didn't seem right w/ that password reset page.
