Some outside systems can not access my OWA site

I have an outlook web access configured and internally i can access the site just fine (https://lvastaffdc.lakeview-academy.com/owa) I am also able to access this with no problems from my home, from other people's homes, and from some colleges and other businesses.  However there are some locations that are unable to access my owa site.  They get a message saying:

lvastaffdc.lakeview-academy.com is taking too long to respond

I have tried everything i can, i have a SonicWall NSA240 and have even had sonicwall enter my router remotely, and i have had no success in letting these people into my site.  I have no idea what is going on, they are not showing in my IIS logs, as ever having touched my system.  I am concerned that it is for people who are surfing the web via providers that have a dynamic ip address not static ones.

I can access the site on any machine as long as i am connected here or at my home, but if i take my notebook with me to the other locations i can not access the site and get the same time out, but move the machine to my home, and no problem.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem?  I have been researching this for weeks and have not been able to find a solution.  i would really like to get this taken care of before my board president comes back from vacation.

thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi,

This should be a network issue. Client does not have a static IP address is not the cause. The specific clients' Domain Name System server may not working properly. You can try pinging the URL host name to make sure it is being correctly resolved to the IP address. Also you can use Network Monitor to troubleshooting network connectivity issue. And you can get more valuable suggestions at a network related forum.

surprisingly enough it was the windows firewall in Server 2008 that was causing the problem.  Why it was allowing some people into the site and others not, i do not know.  But once i turned it off everything was fine.  Now i have the firewall configured correctly everyone has access.
