I would like to re-install SQL 2008 and it says the item is already installed, when I try to re-install application.
The install buttons are not active when I try to install application..
Please advise

Never seen such problem. Are you allowed to uninstall it first and then reinstall after rebooting?
Yes I uninstalled the applications and now the install buttons are not active, its like I only got one shot to install...
