want to create new->website in IIS 5.1, seemed basic but guess not

    hi, yea using:

    Microsot Management Console 3.0
    Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp3_gdr.090206-1234:Service Pack 3)

i am following Article ID: 323972 How to setup you first website, with the ultimate goal of testing a method to force an auto-redirect from http to https.

did not make it very far in steps:

    4. click action, point to new, then click web site

there is not any option like that on the action menu or anywhere...is that a restriction that the administrator of my laptop could of placed on it ? i suppose i could of submitted a question to the administrator, but just felt like posting a question.

    thanks,

Nope.  It's a restriction of using a workstation operating system.  You only get one web site on XP Pro.
