      Hi everyone,

I am trying to run the IIS files with default internet explorer, without going to Dreamweaver first.
Also after the files are opened in TextPad I get the same results when the files are being download.
Internet Explorer opens to start the FILE DOWNLOAD but it is interrupted with a WARNING:

FILE DOWNLOAD - WARNING SEGURITY....and it never opens.

When I tried in Firefox it opens in code format instead of the output.

It seems to be a security problem.
I have done everything I know, including help information, but I have no clue what can the problem be.
I never had that with Windows XP Professional, but now with Windows Vista Professional it is kind of complicated.....

If someone knows something aboutn it, PLEASE give me a hint.

      I thank you very much.

      Naira

What URL are you using to view?

Sounds like you're opening them though the file system and not http so IIS processes the code ...

    Hello Tom,

     Thanks for your answer.

I am trying to open them from different ways.

    1. Then I first open a internet explorer or a Firefox window and type the http://localhost/...name of file....

    2. Or from the Dreamweaver

in both cases it is possible to open the IIS files.

     3. When I try to open from TextPad or from the file I itself, it does NOT OPEN...but almost open, and it is being interrupted by a FILE DOWNLOAD - SECURITY WARNING msgbox which I click open it or save it but it does NOT GO any further.

In Windows XP PROFESSIONAL this was possible on all ways to open it.

Maybe you know something about it, please.

     Thank you very much,

     Naira
