Hi,
Our company set up a aplication which uses IIS 6.0.The Exact scenario is like this :-
AppServer is having IIS Installed. The Virtual directory on the application server is pointing to resources which is kept on Cluster Drive on Remote Network Computer.
Now my question is, Is it really needed to do this? Because I can see there is no performance improvement and there is lot of complications in this configuration.
Microsoft recommend not to put IIS resources on share drives.
Please tell me what may be the issues with this.
