    Permissions to upload a file into IIS6

    Hi!

    I want to upload a file into IIS6 with Asp code and some third party Software(ASPUpload).But when i upload a file it shows the following error.

     Persits.Upload.1 error '800a0005'

    The system cannot find the file specified.

    /customerMail/Sample1.asp, line 31

    I have given permissios to wwwroot folder already.

    Is there any other permissions like IUSR_Machinename on IIS6?

    Quick response is appreciated.

    I guess Persits.Upload.1 is part of ASPUpload. So you can contact the vendor to see why such an error is displayed.

    What exactly is on line 31? I am pretty sure that the path from which you are trying to load or save the file is wrong. Possible reasons:

    • spelling mistake
    • missing slashes
    • destination folder does not already exits
    ASP/ASP.NET/PHP code snippets, tips and tricks
