    Wordpress Issues

I installed MySQL, and then ran the WordPress install from WPI. after everything was completed, I clicked the "show my app" link, and went to a "directory browsing not allowed" error, which meant that the .php extension was non registered in IIS. I corrected that, and now get a 404 trying to view the index.php page, even though I know it's there in the folder.

Is this an issue with the PHP setup?

Could you post some additional information relating to your error? For example, what is the substatus code (404.XX)? Or could you post the results from tracing a failed request?

Some good steps for enabling and viewing detailed error messages as well as notes on how to enable failed request tracing are located here:

Posting this information could make a diagnosis of your issue more straightforward.

    Thanks for responding.

I actually just fixed this. In going through the FastCGI setup here, I noticed that under configuration .php wasn't installed for the individual web sites. If I went to the "web sites" folder properties, it was installed (as the instructions specified). By replicating the setup into the individual site, I got it working.
